AAOS is looking for artists to paint live during the 3rd Saturday art walks in Ocean Shores. There will be artists painting at the Driftwood Mall, Dusty Trunk and at Bay Gifts. At the Driftwood Mall artists will be indoors and there can be as many artists as want to participate.

Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 for Aberdeen Rain Glow Festival #3

 

Artists and Musicians wanted Aberdeen Art Center & Harbor Art Guild are currently accepting submissions for our 3nd Annual Aberdeen Rain Glow Festival downtown.  Spaces are being created by local teams to compete for prizes. Early sign up gets your group the most interesting and unique spaces for your Glow World. Let me know what you have in mind and we'll create a world together!

*Community Hospital Lobby

Lobby is currently closed to the public due to covid-19. Aberdeen Art Center is looking for artists with a body of work to show in the halls and lobby of Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Exhibits run for 3 months. Aberdeen Art Center takes 30% of the price of all art sold. Submit your art images to mindsculptor1@gmail.com with subject hospital walls. 

 

*Art Drives 2020,

 Artists' Studio Tour Cancelled

The studio tour will take place October 3 & 4 and October 10,11 & 12 of 2020. Artists without studios can show in other artist's studios and are encouraged to participate. This Studio Tour is fashioned after the Lewis County Art Trails Studio Tour. Deadline for applications is April 27th. If interested please contact Mery Swanson at watercolorbymery@gmail.com for a prospectus and application.

 

*Phantom Galleries

Currently Aberdeen Art Center has only one Phantom Gallery windows downtown in the former Goldberg Furniture building. Art exhibits change out quarterly. Aberdeen Art Center takes 30% of all sales, hangs the work and maintains clean windows and signage. We like to use one artist per Phantom Gallery. Submit art images to mindsculptor1@gmail.com with subject phantom galleries.

*First Friday Art Walks

Every First Friday of the month the Aberdeen Art Center and other downtown businesses promote a monthly Art Walk. As part of the Art Walk we like to offer artist demonstrations, free art class in the classroom, free snacks and punch and live music; usually about 5 to 8pm at the center. If you are an artist interested in participating, it's free and 100% of your sales that day are yours to keep. If you would like to teach an art class, a stipend is available through Harbor Art Guild please Contact Douglas Orr at mindsculptor1@gmail.com
